The Air Charter Association (ACA) has been a central organisation of the aviation charter industry since its foundation in 1949 and forms a global network of companies in the field of business.
Now, the Czech company WAPE JETS, which provides the charter and sales of private jets, has been added to its prestigious worldwide list of more than 250 members.

WAPE JETS, a Czech company operating in the field of private aviation, presented a Cessna Citation CJ4 Gen2 private jet from the American manufacturer Textron Aviation at Vaclav Havel Airport in Prague. This latest addition to the light jet category can accommodate up to 8 passengers, who will be flown directly from Prague to distant countries such as Portugal and Turkey.

“Despite the new restrictions on movement, people still travel and are flying increasingly often in private jets. This is due to the impossibility of using standard airlines, which have either been canceled or do not meet the needs of the client, and then of course also for reasons of security,” says Zuzana Petakova, founder of WAPE JETS.

Closed borders in spring 2020 due to COVID-19 measures brought air traffic to a halt. Aircraft were either grounded or used for repatriation flights. Many turned to private aviation, fortunately for Wape Jets. Zuzana Petakova says many are travelling privately for security reasons. The number of private flights organised by Czech broker Wape Jets increased significantly last year despite the situation in aviation since the beginning of 2020. A 40 per cent increase was recorded in comparison with 2018 and 2019.
