Dassault

Marcel Bloch, who was later renamed Marcel Dassault, is rightly considered as the founder of the French aircraft manufacturer, Dassault Aviation. The history of the company dates back to 1929 and it is the only manufacturer owned and operated largely as the family business of its original founder. It is also the first global entity to develop and manufacture, in addition to private commercial aircraft, Mirage and Rafale fighters.
